About this position:

The development of a High-Performance Training Centre within the Kingborough Sports Precinct for the Tasmanian Devils AFL team is a project funded by the State Government and the AFL.  Council is managing the construction of two new ovals associated with the project, along with supporting infrastructure and the rebuilding of existing facilities displaced by the development. The position will provide management and expertise to support the Project Director in the delivery of the Council components of the project, including responsibility for tendering and contract management processes.

The successful applicant will require qualifications and demonstrated experience in civil engineering works.  You will require experience in managing civil works contracts and be able to demonstrate comprehensive project management skills, as well as having the ability to liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders

The role is offered on a fixed term basis with an end date of 24/12/2027. The salary offered is in the range of $103,964 to $117,839 per annum, plus 12.5% employer superannuation and a 19-day month. Please contact the Project Director, Dan Kaimatsoglu for further information on 03 6211 8200.
