Kingborough is experiencing rapid growth in development across our diverse municipality, which comprises urban, rural and coastal environments. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join in the role of Team Leader Statutory Planning.
You will be responsible for leading, managing and mentoring a small team which undertakes statutory planning functions within Council. You will also carry a development application caseload, utilising your technical expertise across all component parts of the development application process.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and at least five years’ experience in undertaking complex and specialist statutory planning in a busy operational environment. You will also be well-organised, have excellent communication skills and experience in leading a team of professional employees.

The position is full-time and offered on a fixed term (12 months) basis with a salary in the range of $119,444 - $125,574 (pro-rata for part-time) per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus 12.5% employer superannuation contribution. Part-time can be considered for the right candidate with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
