About this position:

Council is seeking a skilled plumbing surveyor to join the Development Services team within our Building and Plumbing unit. You will be responsible for inspecting and approving plumbing and drainage work within the Municipality to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards. This position is responsible for providing technical guidance to clients, residents, and contractors to help meet required regulations, and carries out soakage assessments when needed. Additionally, you will undertake various duties as directed, in line with your skills, competence, and training.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  1. A trade certificate qualification in the plumbing field,
  2. White card,
  3. Plumber Practitioner Certifier Licence (Tas).

Further details:

The role is full-time and offers a salary in the range of $91,245 - $100,816 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus 12.5% employer superannuation contribution. For more information, please contact Andy D’Crus, Coordinator Building and Plumbing on (03) 6211 8200.
