We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parks & Reserves Team Supervisor to support the works department and the maintenance and improvement of Council's parks, reserves, playgrounds, tracks, trails, trees, and associated infrastructure.
Reporting to the Parks and Reserves Coordinator, you will supervise staff and contractors, coordinate maintenance and construction programs, ensure high-quality service delivery, manage worksite safety, and foster a positive team culture. You will also contribute to planning, budgeting, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
- Experience leading teams in parks, landscaping or a similar operational environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate people and resources.
- Sound knowledge of maintenance and construction practices relating to public open spaces.
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and the promotion of safe work practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate projects, contractors, and operational programs to deliver quality outcomes.
