We’re seeking a dynamic and hands-on People and Safety professional to lead our HR and Work Health & Safety (WHS) functions. This is a broad-scope role ideal for someone who thrives on variety and is passionate about creating a positive and safe workplace culture.
The successful applicant will lead a small team in the delivery of organisational and employee development, strategies and programs including human resource matters, industrial relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, workplace consultation, and work health and safety. A key focus for the role will be working in partnership with management and staff to provide specialist advice and support on a broad range of issues and to develop contemporary people initiatives, systems, policies, processes and culture.
About the successful candidate:
Tertiary qualified, you will have proven technical knowledge, demonstrated people leadership experience and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be skilled in leading change and improvement.
Leading a small team and working across a diverse workforce, the role requires a progressive and innovative leader with high-level people-management skills and the ability to build and maintain a positive workforce culture.
Further details:
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated including the private use of a motor vehicle, 12.5% superannuation and a rostered day off each month. The role is being offered on an ongoing full-time basis.
