As our Coordinator Environmental Health, you will provide strategic direction and lead a skilled team in delivering Council’s environmental and public health strategies. This role also involves regulatory and enforcement activities that protect and enhance the environment, community safety and liveability of our region.
We are looking for an experienced environmental health leader with a proactive, community focused approach. You will excel at building team capability and a positive work culture, navigating sensitive community issues and providing clear evidence-based advice. This position will combine technical expertise, program management skills and team leadership.
What you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Health
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in applying environmental health legislation and functions.
- A highly organised and responsive approach to program management
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive team culture
